So, without further ado, 10 questions to ask a DJ (or band) before you book:
Is my wedding date available?
How long have you been in business?
Have you done any weddings and/or events at my venue?
Are there any other services you provide such as uplighting or a photo booth?
How extensive is your music library or song list? What genres do you cover?
Do you act as the “emcee” and make all the announcements?
How much of a deposit do you require and when is the final payment due?
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Do you bring backup equipment?
If the DJ or one of the band members scheduled for my wedding/event is unable to perform for some reason, do you have a backup replacement ready to go?
