This allows us to get to know our couples past the surface level and curate a soundtrack to their wedding day that truly reflects them. HOW DO WE PAIR OUR COUPLES WITH THE RIGHT DJ?

We know that every couple has a unique vision and musical taste and finding the right DJ is crucial to bringing that vision to life. After booking we send a brief DJ Matching Questionnaire to ensure we connect you with the DJ that most aligns with your tastes and overall vibe for your celebration! Then you'll work one on one with your DJ to plan and ensure your big day is personalized and unique to your vision.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY DJ GETS SICK OR HAS AN EMERGENCY?

Per our contract, it is our job to provide a suitable replacement. In the case of an emergency, our team has the depth to cover in a pinch, and we have a few trusted partners we can lean on should we need to!

Question 4

WILL MY DJ PLAY REQUESTS?

Accepted Answer

You'll work with your DJ for the planning leading up to your event so they always come prepared to deliver a set that fits your vision.

While on the dance floor, we “filter” requests, meaning we will not play a song that you specifically asked the DJ not to play or music from a genre you asked the DJ not to play. If someone makes a request that fits in well with what the DJ is playing at the time and with the music the client wants, then the DJ may play the request. We have an online planning system that will allow you to make request lists before the event.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

We love getting to travel! Many of our DJs have done destination weddings. We've done weddings in LA, Boston, Italy, and Mexico and loads more in between.

Question 6

HOW LONG WILL I GET DJ SERVICES ON THE DAY-OF?

Accepted Answer

We're here for your entire celebration from the Ceremony all the way through the Reception! That means we're on-site and ready to go before guests arrive and rocking the dance floor until the last song.

Question 7

HOW DO I COMMUNICATE AND STAY IN TOUCH WITH MY DJ?

Upon booking, we'll put you directly in touch with your DJ as soon as possible. This process can sometimes take a few weeks but will always be done well in advance of your celebration. Your lead DJ will reach out directly for multiple consultations and show up ready to rock your wedding!

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE AS A DJ?

Our team specializes in open-format, club style mixing. Open-format essentially meaning that we're genre fluid. We're just as prepared to crush a three hour EDM set as we are to play familiar favorites! We'll always bring the same skill in live-mixing to every event and make sure that it honors your personal vision.

CAN I CHOOSE MUSIC FOR MY EVENT?

Of course! We want your music selection to fit like a glove. You can have your DJ take care of everything, build the entire playlist yourself, or meet anywhere in the middle. Usually some combination of these is best! We're good at what we do and value autonomy as DJs and your trust that we'll work with you to make every moment pitch perfect.

CAN WE SEE YOU PERFORM LIVE BEFORE BOOKING?

Yes!

We host an annual showcase of the team. This is an informal mixer/dance party featuring a line up of DJs from the Harmony team. It's a great chance to get to meet the team and see us in action doing what we love.

Additionally, most of our team are active creatively both as DJs and performing artists in other capacities. All of our Instagram pages can be found on our TALENT page where we'll routinely post our individual projects and performances.
