    Excellent question! We are a small but talented team of DJs dedicated to providing best in business talent for both your DJ and MC. We pair couples with their DJ early, and do an excellent job guiding our couples through the musical planning process. We'd love to chat and share more about why with you!
  • HOW DO I KNOW HARMONY IS THE RIGHT FIT?
    Our ideal clients are lovers of music and want to throw a party everyone will be talking about for years. If you appreciate and value the art of DJing and want to build a connection with your DJ then we're a perfect fit!
  • WHY DO YOU BRING A CO-DJ?
    We want everything about your day to be seamless. An extra pair of hands is vital for timely setup of equipment, as well as keeping the vibes immaculate.
  • DO I PAY EXTRA FOR TWO DJS?
    No, the price of the package includes your lead DJ in additional to a production assistant.
  • IS THERE TAX?
    No! There are no additional fees, tax, or charges that are added on to your quote.
  • DO I NEED TO PROVIDE THE DJ WITH A MEAL?
    Yes! It is included in our contract as well. We prefer our DJs stay on-site the entire time we're working so sneaking off to grab food doesn't work for us. Neither does us having Jimmy John's deliver, or using one of our kids' lunchboxes.
  • WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY DJ?
    The earlier the better! As a boutique, peak dates and weekends fill up quickly. While we sometimes have availability on short notice, we recommend you book your DJ close to the one year out mark.
  • IS A GRATUITY REQUIRED?
    We do not include gratuity in the final contract price. Industry standard is 10 - 15% for excellent service. 100% of tips go directly to your DJ.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF MY DJ GETS SICK OR HAS AN EMERGENCY?
    Per our contract, it is our job to provide a suitable replacement. In the case of an emergency, our team has the depth to cover in a pinch, and we have a few trusted partners we can lean on should we need to!
  • WILL MY DJ PLAY REQUESTS?
    Our DJs do take requests and may play some of them. Our DJs “filter” requests, meaning they will not play a song that you specifically asked the DJ not to play or music from a genre you asked the DJ not to play. If someone makes a request that fits in well with what the DJ is playing at the time and with the music the client wants, then the DJ may play the request. We have an online planning system that will allow you to make request lists before the event.
  • DO YOU TRAVEL?
    We love getting to travel! Many of our DJs have done destination weddings. We've done weddings in LA, Boston, and Mexico and loads more in between.
  • HOW LONG WILL I GET DJ SERVICES ON THE DAY-OF?
    We're here for your entire celebration with no hourly limit! That means we're on-site and ready to go before guests arrive and rocking the dance floor all the way until the last song.
  • HOW DO I COMMUNICATE AND STAY IN TOUCH WITH MY DJ TEAM?
    Upon booking, we'll put you directly in touch with your DJ team as soon as possible. This process can sometimes take a few weeks but will always be done well in advance of your celebration. Your lead DJ will reach out directly for multiple consultations and show up ready to rock your wedding!
  • WHAT IS YOUR STYLE AS A DJ?
    Our team specializes in open-format, club style mixing. Open-format essentially meaning that we're genre fluid, we'll bring the same skill in live-mixing to every event and make sure that it honors your personal vision.
  • CAN I CHOOSE MUSIC FOR MY EVENT?
    Of course! We want your music selection to fit like a glove. You can have your DJ take care of everything, build the entire playlist yourself, or meet anywhere in the middle. Usually some combination of these is best! We're good at what we do and value autonomy as DJs and your trust that we'll work with you to make every moment pitch perfect.
